- Databases DO NOT exist to complicate the technology stack. Databases DO exist to protect, structure, and streamline information.
- Databases ARE NOT mystical. Databases ARE knowable through evidence-driven, scientific methods.
- Databases SHOULD NOT be an IT project's bottleneck. Databases (and database administrators) SHOULD facilitate the successful enterprise.
